We’re constantly being told about “SMART” things, leading to confusion with “CLEVER”.
“S.M.A.R.T.” originally stands for « Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology » (see Wikipedia).
These devices, far from being clever, are little snitches, always on the lookout in our daily lives. In addition to the fact that they increase electromagnetic pollution in our environment, these “dumb things” are definitely to be avoided if you want to keep your private life as… private as possible.
